@saraiish That is my general GPA, I have not taken any nursing classes yet because I am not in any program. I am going submit my official transcript to HCC tomorrow along with my application to the Health Science Programs at Coleman. I am also going to resubmit an application to Lone Star. I was an alternate for the program at Cy-fair, but they have not contacted me and the program starts tomorrow. I was told I could still be accepted as late as the end of the day Jan. 18. If I do not hear from them by then I would have missed too much information and I would need to reapply.

What I meant is GPA of classes pertinent to nursing school. AP micro. Psychology all that stuff cuz that's what they consider

Yep cuz if you are like me there are alot of classes on ur transcript not pertinent to nursing pre recs

I have all A's in the pre-reqs with the exception of 1 non-science class where I got a C, but I have an explanation for that lol The counselor told me I would be fine so I'm not worried about it.

Is anyone taking pharmacology right now?

How's it going everyone..

I am also a Fall 2012 candidate. I'm currently taking AP1&2 and MicroBiology this Spring term and will be taking the TEAS V on Feb. 27th. I'm hoping to turn in my application early March and take Pharm this Summer.

Question: They say that the ADN program is 4 semesters...does anyone know if one of those semesters is summer? In other words..is it:

Fall 2012, Spring 2013, Summer 2013, Fall 2013 or Fall 2012, Spring 2013, Fall 2013, Spring 2014?

When I attended the ER meeting it sounded like the program was Fall/Spring, Fall/Spring. There was no mention of summer classes. I took a class at Coleman last summer and while I was there I saw hardly any students, so I assume that their program does not meet during the summer. However when I was attending classes during summer II at the Northwest campus there were nursing students taking core classes (U.S. Hist). That lead me to believe that the nursing program classes met only during the Fall/Spring as well.
