Hey all i am a fall 2012 applicant, i have taken all classes and will be taking pharm in the spring 2012 session. Lets support each other in this process!!

Hi Cassie, I was in your position this time last year. I still had Math 0312 in progress, I was not able to submit an application while my class was in progress. the advisor suggested that i retake the math portion of the compass to see if i could place into college algebra because it was the only pre req I had not completed. I did not attempt to take the compass again, but it might work for you. Good luck.

Try taking the CLEO college math test its easy and gets u math 1332 credit

for those who have already taken the TEAS test can yall share your grades for the 4 sections? i know it has to be 64% and higher

@telma When I submitted my application to Coleman in mid-Jan, I used my HESI score. After this application period they will no longer be accepting the HESI score at Coleman. Have you taken the HESI since August 2011? If so they will accept those scores. All I needed to show them was the copy of my score sheet as well as have a transcript mailed to HCC - Coleman.

if you are a hcc student you might not have to bring a transcript, because they can pull it up

Very true, but I am not an HCC student and I did not take the HESI at HCC.

you do not need to take it at hcc, just have the print out from the hesi website

Oh, I did not know that would work.

The advisor at Coleman told me to contact Elsiver and have an "Official transcript" mailed directly to HCC. The advisor at Coleman said that they would not accept my application unless they received the "Official Transcript" from Elsiver prior to me submitting the application or other option was I could take the TEAS and then submit the application. I did not want to take the TEAS since I had already taken the HESI. I went online to Elsiver, filled out a form waited a couple of days, called the number in the email I received from Elsiver paid the fee to have the transcript sent to HCC, which the lady at Elsiver said they had the mailing address in thier system because they send transcripts to HCC all the time. When I went to Coleman to submit my application, the same advisor pulled up my student records and verified that HCC had received the "Official Transcript" before she accepted my application, wonder why she would go through all that if they would just accept the print out from the HESI website? Are you for sure that HCC does not require "Official Transcripts?" In my experience HCC required an "Official Transcript."

ohh really i didnt know they were still taking the HESI thanks for the info!

@kalisefer

You guys had a math test already? Cool. We had one day of math lecture and fundamental math worksheets but no test until about 2 weeks. Hopefully it won't be too bad :specs:
