Hooray for those taking Pharm! :) I am taking the mynursinglab quizzes and I'm getting a little worried because for the last couple of chapter post test quizzes I took, I made good grades but when I look under the grades tab for the study plan section for the corresponding chapters it shows zeroes Idk if I did something wrong or if the professor needs to release those grades.

mrfamu72: That is a good question. I remember when I talked to the counselor I asked if the ADN classes were offered in the summer and she said yes, but I'm not sure which ones.

No, I have Professor ******. I wonder if the curriculum will be the same. First day of class we were assigned 12 chapters to read by next class.

Wow, that's a lot to cover. In my class we were assigned one module for calculations and two chapters to read or to get ahead we could read four chapters.

My pharm class is great!! I find it easy to understand the material we are currently covering because it relates to much of the information introduced during Medical Microbiology. The first math test was not difficult at all, but then again I did spend a week studying conversions. It also helps that the instructor I have is very dedicated to helping the students who want to learn, learn more.

There are students who, for whatever reason, ask questions that are clearly answered in the assigned reading material. It really becomes apparent that they have not read the material assigned when they ask questions that are clearly explained in black and white on the pages in the text that were assigned for us to read.

I have two tips for students who are going to take pharm or who are currently in pharm. First tip, read the text assigned before you go to class, that way you can ask questions about the things you might not be clear about and you will not feel lost during lecture. Second tip, study the conversion factors and know them like you know your name!!!!

Hello,

I am looking to apply for Fall 2012 as well, someone mentioned that you can take Pharm in the Summer, do you know how long the course is? One month or two, how many times a week, etc... I am finishing my last pre-reqs this semester APII, Micro, Speech, and Inter. Alg. MATH 0312 second start. I know that the deadline is April 1st, but don't know now if I will be able to apply since my math won't be finished yet. I will take my TEAS probably in late Feb or early March and would really like to be approved to take Pharm over the summer to start the ADN program in the Fall. Any help would be very appreciated!!
