Houston Community College Fall 2013

I heard about the Sam's thing! Ugh I wish parking wasn't so expensive I just want to park in front of Coleman!! Does anyone know how much the monthly parking deal is for Coleman?

I believe it's 60 or so dollars but don't quote me on that.

I was looking over the TMC parking brochure and there is another garage at Holcomb and Pressler that is $6 per day. It is Garage 8 and is only a .29 mile walk to Coleman. I'll be parking there this semester and will figure something else out for next semester.

Looks like Pressler and Fannin has one for $7 for 3-4 hours...I will check again I passed by it quickly! It's very close by, within walking distance! :)

Hey Pamela, I parked at Garage 8 at Holcombe and Pressler. Only a block from Coleman. It's $6 a day. Not bad at all. Just allow yourself time to park and walk.

I use monthy TMC parking that is right in front of the school.. Since I go to Coleman often it made more sense to pay for the $68/month. Instead of paying per day $6 (Holcombe and pressler). If you park in front of the Coleman and pay per day, it can go up to $12.

When I was in pharmacology, I would pay either the $6 parking or the metered parking, $5 at the most for the 4 hours I needed.

But now since I am actually in the program, I am having to go 2-3 times a week.

Yea, I will definitely make a change once I am in.

Is everyone still around on the boards? Just wanted to see how things are going in the program- good/bad/ in-between?? I started pharmacology in May and it's ending next week. My big orientation is on Aug 6th. =) Can't wait for it! But still have stuff to do to finish up some requirements...Lol. Anyway- please come back and tell us what's going on!!

Hi, I'm taking the Edose test on August 5th; there was a story behind that...I found out today that I should be receiving some info in the mail about shots, background, & orientation. I took pharmacology at another school. Is there a study guide for the edose test or can you give a general idea of what I should study? I've purchased the edose software. I'm trying to stay calm, however I know there's a lot that needs to be done.

Hey gelibean, I take pharmacology this fall (2014) with hopes that I will be accepted into the nursing program. My question is, if you have taken ALL of the non-nursing courses (A&P's, micro, speech, humanities, etc...) which will leave me with lighter course loads each semester. Do you know if I could take courses from another semester (ex. first semester: foundations, clinical nursing, and health assessment PLUS common concepts, nursing skills, etc...) and possibly complete the program in a fewer number of semesters?
