Nursing Students School Programs
Published Jan 20, 2018
I was just wondering if anyone here is planning on applying for the ADN program this fall 2018. I will hopefully be applying but I need a retake on the hesi exam I passed all sections except the AP section.

Hey y'all, just wanna give you guys a heads up but remember to take care of your titers asap. I just got my blood work back and I was good except for Hep B, since I received the vaccine at a very young age. I was able to get the booster shot, but now I have to wait another month for another blood test.
This puts me at around early June for when I should get the results and titer in hand, which is about a little more than a week before the deadline. Cutting it closer than I would like, but that should give me time to get everything in order.
Make sure y'all get on that stuff fast! You never know what might come up.

Agreee dtd. Does anyone have An update on the BON clearance card? I haven't received an email in regards to that yet. I think it's oneofthe longer ones to complete so I'm making sure I can start on it ASAP.
Yes guys get your titers done asap, I got mines last week and found out I have to get boosters for MMR and Hep B. I'm getting boosters this upcoming week so I'm barely making it with the deadline too since I have to wait about 6 weeks.
I havent received anything either but I used the link provided in the forum here to sign up so they can send the info about it to my home.

Where did you get your boosters and how much did you have to pay?
Is anyone using the Gold Card for insurance? I had submitted my letter that says I'm approved for the Gold card but it is in spanish so they rejected it since castle branch said it's a foreign language, I already called so Harris health system can send the english form, CB also asks to be signed by a physician. I just want to make sure they do accept it.
Marie, I found this at the Texas bon faq part of the site, so I'm not sure I would do anything without getting a go ahead from he school, although I'm not sure how the process works either haha.
How quickly will I be able to schedule my fingerprint appointment?
The BON makes every attempt to enter the rosters within ten (10) business days. We will send an email notification to your school when the information has been entered.

How will I get the Service Code Form (formerly known as a Fast Pass)?
It will be attached to the email sent to the designated contact at your school once the roster has been entered. The school will provide this to you.
My school has been following this process for a while, and they have a Fast Pass from before. Do I have to wait for my school to hear back from the BON before they can give me the Service Code Form?
YES! Getting fingerprinted before your information is in the BON database will delay processing and could interfere with the BON receiving the transmission of CBC results.
What happens if a new/accepted student gets fingerprinted before being entered in the BON system?
As mentioned above, it could interfere with the BON receiving the transmission of CBC results. If this happens, you may be asked to repeat the process.

I got an e-mail today about fingerprinting but it wasn't from HCC. Did anyone else?

I haven't received anything yet, does it say who sent it?
The title of the e-mail is "IdentoGO Service Confirmation". It says your agency/organization has pre-enrolled you for a fingerprint-based background check.
