I still haven't either I've tried to contact the school but they don't answer I might just have to go up there to ask bc I've heard the BON takes awhile and i'm trying to make it by the deadline.

So I called & it seems the dose does count as boosters, castle branch accepted them too I just hope the 2nd titer comes out positive for both mmr & hep b if not im screwed. & the tdap I did have to get the booster but I will be asking my doctor to give it to me. I'm just not sure when I should get the titer some places say I should wait 6 weeks and others say it should be fine within 30 days.

Thank you! So I got the hep b and mmr series when I was a kid I did my titers but it came out low on hep b and measles/rubeola. I called the city of houston health dep & asked if they did boosters they said yes so I went & she gave me the first dose of the mmr & hep b series, she told me I had to repeat the whole series but I told her no I just need a booster to do the 2nd titer. I'm wondering if a first dose of these series are equivalent to a booster bc that is what she gave me? Idk if that makes sense. Also she pissed me off bc I asked for the tdap and she gave me the td she refused to give me the tdap bc she said we're only supposed to get the tdap once, I got it in 2007 but i knew i had to get the tdap booster bc the school is asking for it. Now I have to go somewhere else to get the tdap bc I don't feel like they are well informed there. Idk if getting the tdap a few weeks after this td booster will be bad for me, I'm going to wait until my physical exam to ask for the tdap.

I haven't received anything either yet. I asked ms.regina today she said I have to wait until they send the BON card to my address but I thought we had to get finger printed first? I also had to ask her some questions about vaccines & said I'll have to talk to the nursing department so I called the school & they transferred me to her again but I need to talk to someone else. Does anyone know who else we can contact besides her bc she said she wouldn't be able to answer my vaccine questions?

Is anyone using the Gold Card for insurance? I had submitted my letter that says I'm approved for the Gold card but it is in spanish so they rejected it since castle branch said it's a foreign language, I already called so Harris health system can send the english form, CB also asks to be signed by a physician. I just want to make sure they do accept it.

Where did you get your boosters and how much did you have to pay?

Yes guys get your titers done asap, I got mines last week and found out I have to get boosters for MMR and Hep B. I'm getting boosters this upcoming week so I'm barely making it with the deadline too since I have to wait about 6 weeks.

Yes that one they have afternoon class too.

It has to be the CPR BLS for healthcare providers. I had some questions about it too I'm planning to take it at RC Health but it says if I want to include first aid I'm not sure if we need that I'll have to call and ask to make sure.
