Houston Community College Fall 2018 ADN program.

I was just wondering if anyone here is planning on applying for the ADN program this fall 2018. I will hopefully be applying but I need a retake on the hesi exam I passed all sections except the AP section.

I still haven't either I've tried to contact the school but they don't answer I might just have to go up there to ask bc I've heard the BON takes awhile and i'm trying to make it by the deadline.

Have you been able to go to the school and ask about the BON clearance?

Did you talk to any advisor or someone first? I thought they had to give us a code.

Have you been able to go to the school and ask about the BON clearance?

No I haven't had a chance, I'm going to try to call this week again if not I will go up there.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but with the BON Blue card, do you have to wait on the school to do your finger print and get the blue card? I'm asking because I have done it for another school and I am planning on submitting it to both schools when I'm done. I'm thinking this is it because all they are asking for, in Castle Branch, is the blue card or the letter of approval. I should get my Blue Card soon; I will let you guys know if it is approved. But if anyone knows better, please let me know if I'm advising incorrectly.

I'm not sure how the process works either. Based on other responses on here, the advisor said to wait for an email from the school.

I sent an email to our advisor, Regina Ricks, in regards to BON clearance card and fingerprinting. Her response on Fri, May 4th was---

"The nursing program has provided the pertinent information to the Texas Board of Nursing for your background check. The program will also send you the required information for your fingerprint requirements."

I got another e-mail to do finger printing. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment to do it. I think this one is from HCC. Anyone else receive an e-mail?

I did apply to another school so I am still not sure if it's from HCC or the other one....

btw, there is this app named groupme that we can use to communicate better(:
