Hello everyone,

I have started a thread for anyone who will be applying for Houston Community College ADN Spring 2016. Please add any questions and or comments and hopefully we will be able to exchange information here and keep ourselves positive on our journey to get accepted into the nursing program. I can't wait to hear from everyone! I haven't taken my HESI A2 exam so any pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Congratulations namie 12 and to everyone else that got accepted. I got accepted to and got the same letter as yours. You said u were accepted last semester. Please how did you do the CPR and the Texas board of nursing clearance card? I don't know how to go about it. Thanks dear.

Future RNN,I meant i got the conditional acceptance last semester,did all my medicals,went to the first orientation and later got a rejection letter due to no clinical space .Was told to fill the reactivation form for spring which i did .

Thanks Mayok.Congrats to you too! I already had my CPR which i got from work and the nursing clearance card you get after your background check on certified background. Just follow the guidelines on certified profile.

Really good that they got it organized this time around..it was just too many of us at the orientation for fall 2015 and one wondered how they were going to fix everyone up.At first i thought we were a mix of all the health careers and was shocked when i discovered we were all for ADN.

I got the letter also. I'm so excited. Was kind of scared b/c the other posters were saying what happened last semester, but I'm glad they seem to have it together for the spring. Good luck everyone!!!!

I didn't know we could go and walk in. Are you sure we can do that?

No, I was not. Were you? If, so which zip code did you use? I am very desperate as you can tell. The soonest I could find was October 28th and I contacted Catherine Dumond and she said that she believes some do walk-ins and I tried today and they turned me away. Help.
