Hello! There are a few threads floating around regarding applications to Houston GN/Nurse Residency positions. I just wanted to start one that discusses all residencies in Houston.
I have already applied for a Memorial Hermann and Ben Taub Nurse residency position. I have also applied to the CVICU, ER, and Women's Services positions for Houston Methodist, as well as an ER position at Texas Children's. I am considering if I still want to apply to St. Lukes. I have decided not to apply to HCA nurse intern positions because they pay beans for the first 12 weeks, and I don't want to work for a corporation that takes advantage of their employees in that way.
I have been invited to Ben Taub's information session, and have received an email from Memorial Hermann HR regarding a behavioral assessment to be an eligible candidate for employment.
I'm wondering where you all may have applied and if anyone has heard anything back from their applications yet?
I didnt apply there bc i wasnt qualified, u need 3.2 or greater? Kinda embarass to say but mine was at 3.1 haha i did apply to st, lukes and have not heard anything back
Hey guys! Im just wondering if anyone here knows what the hourly pay in the major hospitals at med center? Does anyone know the hourly pay rate at houston methodist? St.luke's or Memorial Hermann? please reply! Thank you!
I interviewed for women's services. Does anyone know how many positions they are accepting?
They said it was a couple for L&D, maybe 4 or so mother/baby and a few for something else, don't know exact numbers. They did ask if we didn't get the L&D would we be willing to take a position in any of the other settings.

Me too..!! They didnt tell me exactly how many... But i heard more than 700 applied abd they called 400 back.. I hope they call if ya hear anything or anyone being called back please update on here thanks guys gluck
