Doea anyone know if any hospitals in Northern Cali ( San Fran, San Jose up to and including Sacramento) offer housing for staff? Thanks
In the 12 years I lived there, I've only heard of it referred to that a handful of times. Perhaps it's the B&T who refer to it as "Frisco"?Mostly we just call it :Melody:The San Francisco Treat! :Melody:
Perhaps I should have said, NYC is comprised of Manhattan alone? hahaha..many people don't know there are 5 boroughs that make up NYC or even that Manhattan is an island? what?Oddly enough, everyone here calls New York City ...um...New York City!

You're twelve? You seem much older. Very mature for your age!
Actually, here in NorCal, we all call it either Frisco or SF.

Actually, I only hear out of towners refer to SF as "Frisco". We usually call it "the City", as "I'm going up to the city tonight."

There are days when i certainly feel twelve:)You're twelve? You seem much older. Very mature for your age!
And yes, as someone said before about SF being referred to as "the city"...indeed. It's hard for me to refer to SF as the city when I'm currently located in NYC for another few weeks before I end up back in "the city".
Yaaaay:)
