11 hours and 30 minutes til my final check in

11 hours and 30 minutes (but who's counting) until my final check in......I honestly cant believe it. Its definitely been a journey but I have to say I'm glad I made it! Lord knows there were plenty of times that I honestly wanted to give up.......lots of tears, financial hardships and just plain stress. But a super supportive boyfriend and family have helped me keep it together! Ya know life is hard and when something like this happens on top of all the regular daily stresses it takes a toll on a person! In the year and a half I've been in the program, I lost my sister, I've had many sleepless nights worried about my daughter who is an addict (now in treatment), helping raise my beautiful grandson while my daughter focuses on her recovery, dealt with several friends being diagnosed with prostate CA, had surgery.....but through it all, I've come out a better, stronger person and for that, I AM SO BLESSED AND THANKFUL! To all of you still taking it one day at a time (or one second at a time lol) hang in there, you will make it.....if I can do it, anyone can!!!! Much love and respect to all of you! Keep on keeping on, just for today!!!!

Specializes in ED RN and Case Manager.

Congrats! Wow! You certainly faced stressors but hung right in there! KUDOS!

As of today....exactly 90 days left for me!
