Most of the hospitals mentioned above offers a training program for nurses.
If you know people from the said hospitals, you can ask them when the start of hiring. But... as we all know, many of the hospitals now has freeze hiring due to the overcrowded production of nurses and not enough funds to hire them. So they prefer to get paid for the training they can give the nurses.

most of the hospitals have pending applications from year 2007,2008, & those from '09 should wait, its a first come first serve basis, well not unless they have a backer.

There is no incentive to hire full time graduate nurses. With 500,000 PLUS new grads looking for work, the hospitals have a gold mine of "free labor" and a profit motive to make new grads "Pay to train". Until the nursing schools stop graduating so many BSN's, the hospitals will gladly swap profitable "make them pay US" for work programs rather than spend money and hire nurses. Its simply supply and demand!! Soon there will be 1,000,000 graduate nurses and no jobs! Nurses are a great source of talent for call centers now.
The Philippine Nurses Association is powerless and obviously too weak to offer strong leadership in making the gov't. crack down on poor performing schools. Hospitals are raking it in at the expense of nurses and the schools are making huge fortunes on very high tuition rates for a job that has NO FUTURE IN THE PHILIPPINES!
New graduate nurses better figure a way to join together as a strong group to secure their future or there will be no reason to pay large sums of money for a "worthless" 5 years of education. Hotels and Banks pay far better salaries for HRM and Business degrees, while engineering and IT jobs pay top money for tech. degree grads.
Nurses make less than taxi drivers!

hi..if you really want work and with compensation, a friend of mine informed me that their hospital - riyadh national hospital is currently in need of nurses..coz a lot of their staff are resigning due to the difficult work load..it's definitely a work experience right?! and with salary..well..i know the middle east is not an enticing option to new graduates but it's the only place where fresh RN's are accepted..well as long as you have good credentials and trainings..i guess they also consider the school where you came from..the better the school, the better the chances..good luck!

The Philippines is probably the ONLY country in the world where a good percentage of its nurses work as call center agents.
The Philippines is the ONLY country in the world where there are at least 500,000 unemployed nurses within its borders.
And the Philippines is the ONLY country in the world that continues to produce nurses by the tens of thousands every year but there are no places to employ them as nurses.
This is very sad. This is a waste of human talent. This is a waste of the nation's resources.
There is something wrong with this picture.
