Hi guys! I need help. I am a new registered nurse. Has anyone know a hospital that is hiring for staff nurse or a hospital that has training for new graduate nurses this feb or march 2008? I have inquired in so many hospitals but I had a hard time looking for one. Thank you very much. :balloons:
Most countries ask for actual nurse experience and do not accept volunteer work. EU will be hard at the moment to get a work visa so not sure which EU country you are looking for. With retrogression the US will more than likely expect to see some work experience whilst waiting. Canada could be done with no work experience however with current climate many employers will more than likely expect to see work experience. Plus some provinces are holding back on accepting IEN due to employment climate
thanks...can i ask how about australia? new zealand or ireland? I definitely have no idea.
I think the one in Angeles is currently hiring. The hospital's name is Sacred Heart Medical Center, i think.
You should have exceptional credentials to get hired, or the other route, you should know someone, powerful enough - you know what i mean.
The other hospital in Olongapo is our sister hospital. Gossips roaming says that it will operate this October but I don't know if thats true. I haven't see the current status of the hospital yet.
Here's their ancient website:

I hope they could update the site.

PAF is hiring, but i guess they're civilian positions only.
helo. anyone here a passer of NLE last 2008? have u landed on a job yet? i am a newly registered nurse and got no experience. my easiest way to geting a volunteer work is at a provincial hospital but id rather undergo training in a good tertiary hospital, and hopefully become a staff after the training.. can u suggest hospitals where i can submit my resume to? i have thot of MMC and St lukes.. i am willing to spend for training just as long as im assured of a job once training is done.
Hi VixenRN, I'm a June 2007 passer. For some reason, I enjoyed my work in Convergys, so I stayed there for almost 2 years. I saw this site and this drove me back to nursing.
By the way, MMC is on freeze-hire. I just went there recently. Drop box located on the 9th floor is closed. Guard informed me, in a matter-of-fact way, that there are a lot of pending applicants.
I submitted my resume at St. Luke's QC but haven't got a call yet. Maybe, we can submit, then follow up on our application.

It's still better to try.
I currently have a job right now and no future plans of applying to other hospitals. Experience is my priority right now.
Anyway gudluck to you. It's really difficult to land a job nowadays.
