I wanted to start a thread for those applying to HCC's Spring 2014 nursing program. I am a stay at home mom. I know its early but I wanted to get as much info as possible. The deadline isn't until 6/1. I'm a current HCC student. My pre-req GPA is 3.57 (all A's 1 B and 1 C ), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program.
What is everyone elses GPA? I heard its lower for the Spring.
I realy dont know how i feel after today. Day 1 of orientation was not anything like what i was expecting. I felt like they were unorganized, and not prepared to present the information. I think Im more confused now then i was yesterday. The fact that they still dont have a faculty menber assigned to the DM Night/Weekend class really worries me. I hope day 2 is better.

I feel the same. Aren't we supposed yo break off in our class groups tomorrow? What are we supposed to do with no faculty?

I thought you guys might like to know that books and more on Lois in tampa has the nursing books box brand new and if you take the coupon it comes out cheaper than at HCC. If you take your promissory not or financial aid letter you can take it home same day.
