I thought I would start a thread for those of us applying to HCC's Spring 2013 nursing program. I am a Veterinary Technician/stay at home mom. I'm gathering everything for my application and hoping to drop it off at HCC soon. The deadline isn't until 6/1 but they recommend turning it in at least 30 days in advance. I'm a current HCC student. I was planning on applying for Fall this year, but am now expecting a little girl to arrive in July so spring it is! My pre-req GPA is 3.86 (all A's and 1 B), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program for DM evening classes. Good luck to all!
Hi all, well my my nursing application finally shows as "received" but now my hcc application,high school transcript,and nursing perquisites shows as "not recieved"... I've been in hcc for 2 years already, how are those documents missing? any suggestions of what i should do?
I have the exact things missing, allegedly. But I know they have them all. I think they're just slow.
Rachanee-- since you started this thread is the option available for you to add a poll if you edit your first post? I know when I made another post here on AN elsewhere a month or so back I was able to add a poll in initially, perhaps if you can edit and insert one on Page 1 that would be easiest, versus me posting it here and having it get lost on page 21 or so once this thread gets to page 30+.
If not, the next best thing I'm thinking is me making a separate thread here on AN and devoting it just to the poll alone?

Superb! My only other comment would be to change the morning-afternoon selections to include campuses but being that I'm applying for evenings it's no biggie to me. Though the masses within here may prefer that, I'm not sure.
Anyway... everyone else should go "vote" on the poll if they haven't already! :)
That was a good suggestion Gradius, I am a morning person so mornings it is for me. Hopefully someone would like to switch with me if I dont get my choice. But for now we wait...

Exactly, but now that I think about it, being that 7 people have already voted, if you were to alter it further it may require them to vote again, and that might not recover those same 7 people: it could clear everyone's vote actually? I'd say leave it as it is for now unless you or anyone else feels otherwise. :)
