  1. I just sent a pm to everyone who wanted to sit together tomorrow with my number. Rochelleyohn the system did not give me an option to pm you. I wonder why. Hope I didnt miss anyone, and I can't wait to meet you all. If we don't find one another in the morning, maybe during a break or after. Tomorrow is the first day of our new lives. Yaaaaaaa hoooooooo!
  2. I don't know what I am wearing, but I am short with long blond hair in case anyone wants to sit together. Where is orientation at? I can't find my letter!
  3. I plan on getting there early too, probably around 7:30. Anyone else want to sit with us?
  4. Oh my only two more days.........
  5. Whooo Hooooo. I got DM afternoons! It was a hard choice for me between DM AM and DM afternoons. I finally picked afternoon, so I could study before class. After class I am usually spent. Plus, it seemed like the AM people really needed it, so I didn't want to tie it up. Anyone want to sit together at orientation next week?
  6. I called my cousin who is in NP1 this semester and asked her about orientation. Here is the dish: Day 1 all the rules and regulations, list of everything we need to buy, what everything costs, when everything is due, what books we need and when they will be available, vaccination information, CPR, how to upload the requested information (shots, physcials ect.) Clinical sites and rules. Day 2 They split into their class groups and had a getting to know you exercise, tour of the classroom and lab areas, met the professors, and the drug test ( this took a long time). She said they also covered study skills, stress management, time management and the like. She suggested we bring a big water and some snacks and take lots of notes. Hope this helps!
  7. Is anyone else going to have to miss class for orientation?
  8. The next two CPR classes with HCC are Nov 5th or Dec 3. Both classes are on a Monday from 5pm to 9pm. Is anyone interested in attending either session?
  9. Hey Callie I have a just turned 3 year old. I start the program in January. Let me know if you want to have a playdate. We are always looking for new playmates.
  10. Hi Guys. Will someone please tell me which hospitals are associated with which campuses? I got my acceptance letter, and need to pick my campus. I want to conside where my clinical might be located in relationship to my daughters daycare. I am most interested in Southshore and Dale Mabry. Thanks!
  11. I went off the last year. It could still change, but that was all the info I could find.
  12. FYI: Both Spring and Fall 12 Nursing Process 1 DM 9-12 and 1-4 Lecture is Thu/Fri with clinical on Tuesday or Wednesday SS 2-5 Lecture is MW with clinical Thursday or Friday PC 1-4 Lecture is TW with clinical Thursday or Friday Fall 12 PC 5-8 Lecture is MW with clinical Saturday Spring 12 DM 5-8 Lecture is MW with clinical Saturday I don't know if it ever changes, but this is what is under Search for Sections for the last year.
  13. I think it is two nights a week for 3 hours each, and clinical on Saturday. For 12 Spring it was MW 5-8. I don't see DM NW listed in Fall 12. That's strange.
  14. Okay fingers crossed! It sounds like you have a good case. When do they meet for appeals?
  15. In class today a young lady mentioned she denied her seat for the nursing program since she has decided to pursue education instead. One more seat is available! Waaaa Hooooo!
