I am an alternate for HCC Dale Mabry campus. I am not yet in the program. This is my third time as an alternate, so; I don't want to be too optimistic. I found out that starting last week the school was going to be notifying alternates if they have a spring 2009 seat. I am wondering if anyone has heard that they are in yet. I am very nervous, and I would appreciate any information. Thank you
That's my concern - I know she was saying new balance sneakers as an example of a good pair, but they all have mesh air holes and the edging isn't leather...left me a little worried! LOL at the boots!
Fourhundred - what campus are you on and what class? i was plant city but got switched, so i'm now in dale mabry's afternoon class.
I got the campus that I wanted for Fall 2009. So, all is good. :) No mix-ups for me. Orientation was exhausting, I agree. I am excited to start!! Will work on getting scrubs and shoes soon. I see a lot of student nurses at the hospital I work at, with all leather, white, Nike Shox. Going to start working on the clinical calculations soon, to be ready for fall. Good luck to all Spring 2010 applicants!!!
Hello,
I did not receive any letters from HCC before my acceptance. I am not sure why they are sending these letters out, perhaps to include the Ruskin campus as a choice now?? I am sorry, but I do not think this letter is an indication if you are going to be accepted, but hopefully I am wrong. There is another thread going about the 2010 Spring class under the Florida nurses forum. Good luck!! :)

Hi all! I hope everyone that was accepted enjoyed orientation! I was wondering what everyone was thinking of getting for shoes....I'm debating between the sneakers and actual nursing shoes....if we get sneakers is it ok if there is mesh on them here and there??
