Hillsborough Community College RN program fall 2013

I plan to attend to HCC's 2013 fall evening nursing program (applying in Jan). I am curious to see what people people's GPA is going in. I hear spring's is lower than fall's.

I just got my email. I am plant city nights. I am hoping for TGH. I'm in St. Pete and it is gonna be rough commuting for class so it would be a nice break to go to tampa for clinicals.

I'm Plant City days and haven't heard anything yet either. My class has also disappeared from Blackboard; it is still in mycruiser, so I haven't been dropped.

Can one of you pretty please post your email? I would really like to get started on reading something besides the math. I have an older Med-Surg book, but am not sure where to start.

I bought that book package deal at HCC Dale Mabry Campus yesterday! They just got it in. I also went ahead and bought everything else we need at Uniform City. Does anyone know if we have to have a certain kind of scrub pants/tops with or without pockets? I bought two different kinds of wine colored Cherokee scrub pants, both with pockets.

I don't recall them mentioning if pockets mattered or not. I would prefer them myself. The uniform policy is online in the nursing section. If it doesn't state it in there, I would say your just fine.

Campus cruiser/blackboard email. It was from our class teacher, so I would imagine it's however proactive the specific teachers are. She also gave us a jump on the first few weeks of class with reading materials about drug calcs and conversions, etc...

Did she post to blackboard messages? Or, did she send you an e-mail to your Hawknet e-mail account. I haven't used blackboard since last Fall...my Spring professors didn't use it. I recently reset my password, and am not showing any classes scheduled (on blackboard)...I do still see my NP1 class scheduled on WebAdvisor.

Just got a call accepted to plant city days :)))) beyond excited I had pretty much lost hope for fall not my first choice but oh well I'm happy regardless. Now to start the process of fingerprints immunizations etc can anyone tell me the schedule for plant city days and wat days it will be?

Congrats! Classes are Tues AND Wed from 1:00-4:00 : clinical will be either Thurs OR Friday
