I plan to attend to HCC's 2013 fall evening nursing program (applying in Jan). I am curious to see what people people's GPA is going in. I hear spring's is lower than fall's.

Is anyone else having issues logging into certified background? I signed up for it yesterday and got my confirmation email today. When I attempt to log in, it keeps giving me an error message.

I was able to get in o.k., using the link on the confirmation email...don't know how to get in any other way, as I tried to just pull up certifiedbackground.com and can't figure out how to log in from the home page. They did say that they had to update the Due Dates for each of us...they are showing Due Date: 1/2/2013 OVERDUE. Maybe that is why you can't get in? It let me in though, so I don't know. E-mail or call them. :unsure:

Hey guys just had to stop by and read the posts.....just got out of NP1 boy is it unlike anything else you have have yet to experience in prerequisites! Anyone who has Mrs. Lewicki is lucky....she is great she understands that this is new and tries to help as much as possible. I just wanted to come and let you all know that yes NP1 is hard but it also is possible to survive. I work full time have a son and do NW.....Proud to say I passed with an A :)) just gotta devote yourself and STUDY......dont let yourself get behind.... Looking forward to NP2 in the fall. Please feel free to ask me anything questions you have. Good luck guys!

Thank you sooooo much for the info. The fact that you had that much going on, and passed with an A is truly remarkable. Congrats! Your story is an encouragement to myself and everyone else on here. How many hours would you say you spent on studying? And, did you know anyone on day at PC (for NP1)? Any advice on Mrs. Crews?

For those of you that are closer to Lakeland, I got my varicella titer for $49 at Lakeland, AnyLabTestNow (by Lakeland Square) yesterday. I was also in and out in 5 minutes...no appt. necessary. They also have physicals (by a M.D.) for $30, by appt. only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I should have my results this afternoon, via e-mail...it may be Friday morning, due to the holiday.
