Hillsborough Community College RN program fall 2013

Published

Hello,

I plan to attend to HCC's 2013 fall evening nursing program (applying in Jan). I am curious to see what people people's GPA is going in. I hear spring's is lower than fall's.

Thanks!

Are you going to the health dept in Ybor for the immunizations? Do they now have the combined hep a&b? Thanks for all the great info. I sent you my email, so please send the form.

I sent you the form. I am going to the hd in Lakeland, but I imagine the costs are the same or close, as they are all government agencies. If you find lower pricing, please let me know. And, Yes, they said hep a&b are combined.

One more thing, regarding immunizations. Per the lady I spoke with, do NOT get the influenza shot until the CDC releases the new shot for 2013-14...typically around October. If you remember from your Micro class, the shot changes each year, because surface proteins adapt and mutate...LMBO :roflmao: Smart little buggers. I loved Micro.

Is there anyway you can send me the form for the physical and immunizations in a message? Thanks for posting! Very helpful.

I sent the form to your e-mail address :)

OK, got all my immunizations done, except for the second and third Hep B shots. We don't need Hep A. So glad to have that done and I am paid and scheduled for the July 7 CPR class. Thank you again la1717 for helping us to sort this out. I would rather focus on the pre-studying we will have to do after orientation than all this medical stuff. NOW.....if we would only get our assignment in the mail. :arghh: Also, wow, are all these immunizations expensive!!!!! I'm about to max out the cc! Can hardly wait to see what our box of books cost.

Is it $700 for all of them or just the box of books. I know there are others besides what come in the box.

Is this set for the 1st or multiple semesters?

Don't know about medical insurance...we will probably find this out in orientation.

You all realize that like 99% of the questions you're asking can be found on the website right?

Well... will be 700 for the package they offer.

this is for the first semester. I do not know about the others
