Hillsborough Community College RN program fall 2013

Published

Hello,

I plan to attend to HCC's 2013 fall evening nursing program (applying in Jan). I am curious to see what people people's GPA is going in. I hear spring's is lower than fall's.

Thanks!

No letter in the mail for me today. I'm really hoping i'll hear something on Monday. My total pre-req GPA is a 3.61.

Do they change anything on HawkNet once you are accepted?

My letter came in the mail today..I'm in! Super excited!

not that I have seen...

Yes! Congratulations to all who made it into the Program! I'm so happy for you! See you in June!

Happy Mothers Day : )

Nope, everything still looks the same for me. My profile still says "applicant."

I really wish that we were a little better informed. Just a little email update would help. I re-read my acceptance letter and it did mention that we would get our assignments by mail a couple of weeks before orientation. So that's really not too far away. I've started to look at shoes. Does anyone know if there are specific requirements on the shoes? Clogs or no clogs, slip on, laces?

Gah! I'm so jealous that some alternates have received acceptance letters. My pre-req gpa is 3.68, so based on other posts I'm expecting one. I'm just frustrated that I have to wait more! Lol

Hopefully it will be in the mail for you today. :)

I thought I read somewhere that the shoes have to be completely closed (toe and heel), but I imagine things may have changed. We probably will find out those kinds of details at orientation. Does anyone know approximately how much the is? I read somewhere that we have to have it for clinicals.

This is that the manual says: "Clean, closed heel and toe white shoes, leather or leather-like are to be worn. No canvas shoes are to be worn. No color trim is permitted. White socks only."
