Hey everyone!
This post is for the Spring 2022 Nursing program at HCC. I applied for the Fall and was not accepted so trying again for Spring!
GPA was calculated as 3.28
Fall’s cutoff GPA was 3.52 which seems incredibly low for that semester so here’s to hoping Spring is even lower! Good luck!!
Good afternoon everyone! I wanted to drop this link to this Nursing Student subreddit since it has an incredible amount of helpful information and thought some of y’all would probably find it useful sometime soon. This page has pretty much everything! If you’re gonna read anything, this post alone is great.
Hello, I tried calling the concentra healthcare clinic about the physicals and they told me they don’t sign off on physicals and they do not verify immunizations ? which is ridiculous cause I was literally told from when I called last time they do? Has anyone found a place that does in Brandon? Cause my doctor literally told me no oddly enough.

Have you tried CVS MinuteClinic?
Also, did HCC provide a list of clinics the offer student discounts? Fortunately, PHSC provided us with clinic facilities the will do student physicals for $25.

Unfortunately CVS Minute clinic won’t verify vaccines that weren’t given by them. Do you have a list of those clinics? It’s seems near impossible to even find anyone to sign off on immunizations ?
Okay so I called Florida Health in Pasco, and they do physicals for $25, and they’ll sign off on your immunizations as long as you have documentation. If you need titers, they do those as well. It’ll cost me about $78 for my MMR, Varicella, and Hep B titers. I was able to get scheduled Oct 18th. If you can swing the drive, here is the number to call and schedule. 727-861-5250

Hi, the "Classroom Uniforms Policy" Document --------------------------- sent to us (it was the second email sent to us after the initial orientation documents) mentions that the tops and jackets have an HCC emblem embroidered, to my understanding, that's the embroidery they mention. Not a personalized one. In which case, you choose the tops whose name ends in "E" which means those are embroidered. In any case, someone in the email thread already emailed ------------------------ asking that same question you have, so if you wanna be 100% sure- wait for an email reply.
