Hillsborough Community College Nursing Program Application Spring 2022

Hey everyone!

This post is for the Spring 2022 Nursing program at HCC. I applied for the Fall and was not accepted so trying again for Spring!

GPA was calculated as 3.28

Fall’s cutoff GPA was 3.52 which seems incredibly low for that semester so here’s to hoping Spring is even lower! Good luck!!

not sure how covid effects everything now because our cohort started semester 1 right before the pandemic hit — but we had I believe 1 sylly week, and 4 weeks of lab before our first clinical

 Good luck to everyone applying and I hope that you all get into the nursing program. I’m a graduating and I have some books if anyone would like to buy them from me.

I also have all of the books in the set if anyone’s interested in purchasing, you would just need to purchase access codes for online use. I have level tags as well 2 for each level.

I don’t remember exactly when we started clinicals first sem. Everything changed with covid and it was play by ear every single semester, things were constantly changed and switching around.

Is the above schedule correct for the program? Do you not have class past 2:30 pm during the week? I am trying to figure out if it is feasible to work part time during this program. Thank you. ?

Hi all! I am new to all nurses, and I heard that the drug tests are supervised? Would that be standard for students? I know in the field and for employment that's necessary, but were yours supervised?
