Hillsborough Community College Nursing Program Application Spring 2022

Hey everyone!

This post is for the Spring 2022 Nursing program at HCC. I applied for the Fall and was not accepted so trying again for Spring!

GPA was calculated as 3.28

Fall’s cutoff GPA was 3.52 which seems incredibly low for that semester so here’s to hoping Spring is even lower! Good luck!!

I called around and Advent Health center does physicals and they told me they sign off on immunizations as well, and although they don’t take my insurance they have a school special so it’s $20. Mine is in the Brandon area the number I called (844) 397-0018!

I went to Bay Care in Tampa for everything! 
Courtney Covert was amazing! 
 

Does anyone know how quick turn around for drug screens typically are? Only asking because I will be out of town October 17-21 and am afraid of the possibility I will not be around when they want it. I would email but they said not to LOL.

I’m not sure either but I think it’ll be quick, I’m gonna be out of town the 20-30th but I think we have until November 14th to turn everything in so hopefully the drug screen is quick

Hey! I emailed them LOL they told me they’d just reschedule for me if I’m not around when they request it, so hopefully that’s true cause they said it’ll randomly happen and they don’t know when so I guess that means it’s not something we can get kicked out of the program for not doing it due to circumstances.

Thanks for letting us know. I was worried about that too, since I'm gonna be out of state next week.

Ohh my time was different. Mine was from 6pm to 10pm so my instructor condensed it down to two hours so we weren’t there so late. Yours may be different. Sorry!

We got out maybe an hour earlier than scheduled. I think it was originally 9am- 1pm. But the instructor arrived late (probs more than 30 mins if I can remember). We started late too. It's gonna be different every time I’m assuming so expect to be there for 2 hours at the least and up to 4.
