  1. Yay! Congrats! Can’t wait to meet everyone! Here’s my facebook! https://www.facebook.com/hinostroza94
  2. Congrats!! So happy for you!! Good luck with your program!!
  3. The anticipation for the next emails are killing me! I’m hoping they don’t wait until after orientation 😩
  4. I was told we’d get a lot of that info during orientation, but I’m not too sure. As far as CPR, I went ahead and did mine a while back when I was applying for the Fall just so I’d have it done. HCC does the classes, I’ll try to find the link. edited for the link: https://catalog.tampatraining.com/browse/alliedhealth/hcp
  5. Hmm that’s odd! I would send an email to health sciences and confirm which date it is! Maybe it’s different for each cohort! And yes it’s completely online through Microsoft teams! I also just looked and the 25th falls on a Saturday this month, so it’s most likely October! But I would still double check!
  6. Absolutely! the email is avickers3@hccfl.edu this is what I sent: “I was registering for the BLS course when I read that there is a discount code for HCC students. My name is (name) and my I.D. is (student number)” They usually hold the BLS class at the Dale Mabry campus! 7. Also, as far as health insurance goes, what’s everyone using? (You don’t have answer if you don’t want). I’m trying to figure out what company I should set up the cheapest insurance through just to get through the program 😩
  8. Just wanted to let you know that if you go through HCC for your CPR you get a discount! I paid $35 for mine! Let me look, and I’ll find the lady’s email that I had to speak to for the code!
  9. Yes! Also, after you’re done with finger prints, make sure to send a pic of the paper they give you to health sciences for proof you did it before the 23rd!
  10. Just submitted my documents and scheduled to do fingerprints later today!
  11. Good luck!! And don’t give up! I was denied my first time! You got this!
  12. Hey! Good luck to you!! I’m hoping for Dale Mabry afternoons or Plant City!
  13. Those would be previous college transcripts.
  14. There’s no waiting list but out of 450-500 applicants only 144 get in each semester. So the odds are very competitive. What are the requirements for your program?
  15. https://news.hccfl.edu/press-releases/press-release-details/2021/Hillsborough-Community-College-Receives-State-Approval-for-First-Baccalaureate-Degree-Offering/default.aspx Here’s the link. This is all they’ve said on it so far. I think they have to get one more approval and then they’ll be able to implement it in Fall of 2022!
  16. Yes totally normal! Mine was the same way last semester. My previous college transcripts took a few weeks to show as received! I think they enter everyone’s in first and then update it as they begin to go through the applications.
