Hillsborough Community College Nursing Program Application Spring 2022

Hey everyone!

This post is for the Spring 2022 Nursing program at HCC. I applied for the Fall and was not accepted so trying again for Spring!

GPA was calculated as 3.28

Fall’s cutoff GPA was 3.52 which seems incredibly low for that semester so here’s to hoping Spring is even lower! Good luck!!

I was wondering the same thing. I go through Veterans Affairs so I wasn’t sure if they’d accept that. I was told by a current student that they went over all of the insurance info during orientation.

Yeah in my email I was told September 25th, but in the attachments it said the orientation was October 25th. So that’s pretty weird, I don’t wanna miss it but I’m not sure what date it is and it’s completely online right?

Hmm that’s odd! I would send an email to health sciences and confirm which date it is! Maybe it’s different for each cohort! And yes it’s completely online through Microsoft teams! I also just looked and the 25th falls on a Saturday this month, so it’s most likely October! But I would still double check!

Okay so you’re waiting to hear back? Which cohort do you want to be in? Do you know if the evening cohort is full?

Yes I’m waiting to hear back, Cohort 1 was my first option and Cohort 4 was my second. It doesn’t matter which of the two I get into.

Also, long shot here but- if anyone knows the answer from previous semesters- does anyone have any idea around what time they’ll be sending the emails/deadlines for immunizations, CPR, physical, etc.? Will that likely be after or before the orientation?

I was told we’d get a lot of that info during orientation, but I’m not too sure. As far as CPR, I went ahead and did mine a while back when I was applying for the Fall just so I’d have it done. HCC does the classes, I’ll try to find the link.

The anticipation for the next emails are killing me! I’m hoping they don’t wait until after orientation ?

Same, I thought they would’ve sent them by now…Hopefully we get them this week atleast

Does anyone know how many students there are on average for a cohort
