Hey everyone!
I hadn't seen a thread started yet for the fall '16 entry to the program and thought I would start one, since the application deadline is only 2 months away. I'm excited and nervous about the process....just hoping my GPA is good enough to get in. I've taken the TEAS V and just finishing up my last pre-req to apply. I'm currently in North Dakota and will be retiring from the Air Force next year. So, that alone is frustrating since I have to call or e-mail with any questions.
Who else is applying?
Chris
I actually emailed the Health Sciences Dept the other day inquiring about the letters and here was their response:
****** AUTOMATIC REPLY *******
Students who submitted applications for the JANUARY 15, 2016
Applicants should expect to see updates in their WEBADVISOR account through the next few weeks. If there are no codes regarding your application, it means that the application has not been processed yet, or your WebAdvisor may show "ASAP", "Not Received" or 'UNDER REVIEW" messages until all admission requirements have been completely evaluated.
NO confirmation of receipt, NO update on applications/documents or status are available after January 15, 2016.
Final/Official status into the program will be sent via EMAIL to the applicants HAWKMAIL account approximately 10 to 15 weeks after January 15, 2016. No further response to students inquiries regarding applications/documents will be made until final status communication.
Thank you for your understanding and patience,

Hi everyone, I also applied to the nursing program this Fall and love to know that we can communicate together and know who gets in when. It definitely is terrible to wait and wait but I was wondering if anyone would like to take the CPR course together while we are waiting and where to go to take it?
Thanks,
K
I meant to put this in my last post. Here are the forms for your physical and immunizations. Hillsborough Community College - Current Students. Go to this link and click on immunizations, and at the bottom of the page is a PDF file. This will show you what you need to do for the program. If you decide to start now just remember that they have to be signed by a ARNP or doctor. Not an RN or PA. Also I saw someone mention doing CPR now. I would wait because they will tell you the courses to take at HCC for only $35 and if you wait it will last the whole program. I am not trying to take over your thread or anything, these are just things I think about and wish I knew before I started. If there is anything else you guys need let me know. I know the anticipation is killing you guys but just hang in there.

I pray that everybody will get an ACCEPTANCE letter soon. Taking five courses this semester really keeps me busy which means that I don't think about the letter as much as I should. However, I'm still a little bit anxious about it. God is good guys just keep praying everyday.
