Hillsborough Community College Fall 2017

I just called the advisor to ask some other matter related to my application and she said there was about 500 applicants for this cohort!!!!!
Now I really don't know if I stand a chance... what you guys think?
3.667 GPA?

ARE YOU SERIOUS????? I am so over it! LoL. Last cylce was over 400 and the cut-off was 3.55. So I am definitely out of the running! with a 3.667... you have a HIGH chance of getting in!!! Fingers crossed for you!

500? My nerves are getting worse everyday! That is an insane amount of applicants, but I can totally believe it. Almost all of the students from my A&P and math classes were applying for the program. I am losing my mind.

I'm sorry this might be a question that was already answered. Do they email you if you got in or is it a letter in the mail ?

I hope so... PHSC screwed up my application and I learned TODAY that I was not able to compete with the current cohort because my application was missing "the high school transcript!!!!"

I have an A.A and a B.S, for God's sake! why do they need my transcript from high school?

I am so frustrated, cried tons already.

Well, this is my ONLY chance.

The advisor told me to keep an eye on our email account. She also said the letters should be out mid June (I think it will be earlier than that) and the orientation day is July 10th.

Maybe they are going through the applications in alphabetical order?

OMG..... NOOOOOOOO. I am so sorry girl. And they can not override that requirement since you already have 2 degrees?!

Well since the cutoff last cycle was 3.55 for 400 applicants I think maybe the cut-off will be like 3.65 for 500. You still have a chance!

And I am totally down for getting drinks yall! LoL.
