Hillsborough Community College Fall 2017

Is anyone else planning on applying for the Fall 2017 nursing program? I know it is really early, but I am just too excited. I want other people to share my excitement with!! :)

For those that have some free time I suggest you start finding immunizations record or any vaccination document for the upcoming physical for HCC. I lost mine and the county gave me a hard ass time just to get a document (excuse my language ) . going in a few to finish my physical since I had to wait 2 days for the tubercolsis reading . college physicals come out of pocket so make sure you guys have the time and money

For those who took microbiology at a different college, is yours the same course number? Mine is MCB-2010 but HCC is MCB-2000.

I took at Johns Hopkins and the class code was NR.110.203.8101 Microbiology with Lab. I remember talking to the advisor about the course substitutions process; they asked me to send the syllabus in order to evaluate it. Now, my transcripts shows MCB 2000...all normal!

Luckily I have this all done already since I am doing a Medical Assistant program over the summer! :) FYI for those who may not have grown up in Florida/ have access to their shot records, get titers done/ask your provider about titers instead of having to get revaccinated for anything you may not need.

I just called the advisor to ask some other matter related to my application and she said there was about 500 applicants for this cohort!!!!!:nailbiting:

Now I really don't know if I stand a chance... what you guys think? :down:
