Is anyone else planning on applying for the Fall 2017 nursing program? I know it is really early, but I am just too excited. I want other people to share my excitement with!! :)
Is it true that you can take MICRO 2 at another school that offers it and that will count towards your GPA instead of MICRO that was taken at HCC if you where not satisfied with getting a C or B in that course.
The only courses, that I'm aware, that you can take a higher for better grade, is math. My English class, took back in 2000, was a C. Although I've taken much higher English classes since then, with much better grades, they still count the Freshman English. Since the requirement is Microbiology, that is the course they will count. Now, if it's algebra and you take pre-calculus or higher, they'll count the higher. Again, this is my understanding.
So here's a question for y'all:What type of nurse do y'all want to be? :)
I love kids so I want to be in pediatrics:dummy1:, as of right now neonatology and oncology have my interest.
Good responses here from everyone. Maybe we'll change our minds after clinicals, but for now, I would really love to become an ER nurse. Perhaps trauma nursing if I can stomach it.
I keep checking my hawkmail, my documents, and my progress towards degree reqs and haven't seen a change yet. I want to be sure I'm looking in the right areas. Where is everyone seeing things "received" in regards to the application for fall the nursing program??
It is in the MY DOCUMENTS section. You should see things like "TEAS Scores for Health Sci Nursing 17/FA" and in my case "Nursing Prerequisites UNDER REVIEW Nursing 17/FA" because its still being reviewed. If it hasn't shown up yet then they haven't input your application yet. No worries! It's a slow process!
HI I'm new to college. Graduated in 2016, i was wondering do the credits from Keiser University transfer to Hillsborough college?
You would have to check with the registrar. If its a nationally accreditted school I do not see why they wouldn't but you should be able to ask really quickly with a call. Good luck!

I would like to do a critical care setting... at least for now, lol.
