Hillsborough Community College Fall 2017

Is anyone else planning on applying for the Fall 2017 nursing program? I know it is really early, but I am just too excited. I want other people to share my excitement with!! :)

Guys when is the deadline . been so busy with school and work I don't even remember

I finished my prereqs and mine says "not rec'd" so I don't know. But it shows "consent form nursing" "health sciences fee" and "nursing application form" all as received. Yay now I can stop worrying and wondering if it made it to them!! LOL

@Douglas92 now we are really motivated lol to do good in our last pre reqs. im so excited there is an update in "my documents"

Doing quite alright over here. My husband took me to a nice fancy dinner last week and asked me to go to Germany with him. :/ I told him if I get accepted, I will have the winter break off and go see him for those 3(?) weeks and also summer off as well. With him and I both active duty (I am reserves now), we spent a lot of time apart so I think he doesn't want to spend more time alone and miss any of our daughter milestones. I think a good inbetween would be to apply to the Spring 2018. What do you guys think? Am I being a bit selfish? :(

How long is his tour?

Is there a way for me to check whether or not they have even received my application packet? I haven't seen any changes to my account whatsoever.

Ashley- His tour is two years long, but the ultimate plan is when he retires from the Army in five years, I would be done with my education and working so when he gets out he can focus on his education.

Alexander- I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but when did you submit your application?

Douglas-- I believe I submitted my application around late February?

Hey, you guys want to know something hilarious? HCC isn't going to accept my business calculus course, MAC 2233, towards my math requirement. So I've been busting my ass since yesterday to prepare for the College Algebra CLEP. Another $100 down. I GUESS CALCULUS ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU, HCC. THANKS.

Is HCC not accepting it or the nursing department? I know a few of us were taking this exact course to bump up gpa because it's higher than algebra! They must have changed this. :blackeye:

That is crazy! How did you find out they won't accept it? What a bummer. :( There are some really good college algebra youtube videos you can watch, I wish you the best on the CLEP!

Insane!! They not only accepted my College Algebra class but also Statistics! And I did both with a different community college!

I am so sorry to hear that... it must be just adding pain to this entire process - as if this alone isn't stressful enough.:grumpy:
