Hillsborough Community College Fall 2017

Is anyone else planning on applying for the Fall 2017 nursing program? I know it is really early, but I am just too excited. I want other people to share my excitement with!! :)

So now I know I'm not the only one stressing about a math class .... Just keep yourself motivated guys its the best thing we can do . try to keep them GPAs high.

Does anyone else already have their final GPA? What is it and what campus/time are you aiming for? I am not sure how to see my prereq GPA because I can only see my overall for my A.A. degree, but I got 1 B in A&P I Lab and A's in everything else. I am pretty confident I will get it, but it all depends on the Teas. I am hoping to attend Southshore because I am closing on a home in Lithia soon. Plant City is just as far, but I took a test on the PC campus and it felt kind of old and not as clean as SS. This wait is seriously the worst!

You can just calculate your prereq GPA . adding all the credits and dividing up by the amount of prereq classes . & corrinepaige91 . you have all A's and one b psh you can get accepted into USF with those grades !

I think I have a 3.7 as of right now. I am going to request southshore in the morning if they have it..

I like HCC because of the price, but would you go to USF instead if you could? I might look into them as well

Hey

So, I haven't received a response to my email yet...

If anyone finds out if Plant City or Southshore are definitely in mornings or afternoons please let me know. I'm hoping for mornings.

Also, have any of you found an advisor that can answer nursing questions? I'm tired of getting directed to someone else and just need some questions answered asap.

I also want to know about Southshore Mornings. I am not sure who to ask though. Let me know if you hear anything and I will try to find out tomorrow. I also go to Southshore on Thursday 3/23 to take my TEAS so I can also go to an advising office to ask if you don't get an answer by then.

I mean if I had your grades I would definitely apply to USF . I mean it is USF lol so prestigious there nursing program .

Well I was planning on doing the HCC RN program and then getting my BSN there at USF. I just like the cost of community college better lol

So I'm applying again was denied because of GPA have a 3.4 hopefully I can get in this time I like south Shore campus

Is anyone applying to other schools beside HCC I was thinking of going to lpn but not sure if it would be a good idea I have my AA already

Polk State is a good college if you already have your AA, they do a points system for their applications and you get a couple extra points with an AA degree.

Same boat as you right now . got denied with a 3.42 lol I am listed for Erwin tech for august . that's basically my plan b . can't sit around waiting for HCC . so they can deny me again .. I think not
