Hey everyone! I hope someone can help me bc I am a little confused. I got my book package from HCC friday but I am pretty sure we were told there would be 2 more books we need. Am i right? if so can someone please tell what they are so I can order them off amazon or let me know where they purchased them from? Thanks!!!

Davis's Drug Guide 13th edition, Nurse's Pocket Guide 12th edition, and you also need Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (I bought the 7th edition). Bought all of them off Amazon.

There is an app for drugs, and I have an older version of the book. I'm going to give it a go without buying the other book as long as I can!!

are the books only available at Dale Mabry campus? I am trying to purchase them through the website at Plant City and the package does not show up.

also, do they sell the patches/emblems we need to stitch/sew/glue on our uniforms/scrubs at Plant City?

There were books at PC last week. DM is sold out right now (or was, last week). SS is supposed to be getting some this week. If you're purchasing them online, beware, it's $13 for shipping. You can order them on the website for the SS bookstore if you can't get PC to work...maybe try the DM one too? Should all be the same.

Patches should be sold at all three campuses if they're not sold out.

FYI, I just called the dale Mabry campus bookstore and they have the package books!

When y'all went to buy books did you have to show that you were enrolled in the nursing program?

All you need to say is that you would like to buy the custom package of books for the nursing program. No id or proof you are in the nursing program.

I went to PC this morning, they don't have books but is having some sent from DM. Pc does have patches, it was a little over $6 for two.

I also found out that we can't charge to financial aid until aug 13. L
