Has anyone received an email regarding the hospital training we need to complete? In fact any emails at all....I have not received a single email since this process started! If so can someone please give me a contact email, thanks holly

Depends on which hospital. All of Southshore's hospital training is online on the certified profile site. I can't speak for the other 2 campuses though.

Im not much help....as I'm still waiting on my finical aid to be awarded. I do know that if you are awarded the money to pay for classes is automatically taken out. The balance of your reward will be applied to your HCC One card that you can you as a visa anywhere or you can withdrawal money at the ATM. Your not the only one without books I cant get mine until I received my award!!

For financial aid, you can also have them deposit the money in your bank account. It's one of the options when you choose how you want the remaining money to be disbursed.

Thanks....I'm at DM and it's not showing on the certifed profile website! I will be toning to a Baycare hospital St. Joseph. Anyone else heard or gotten an email??

On the website for the HCC One Card after you login under the Refund tab, there's an option for Refund Preferences. Once you go there, you just have to change your preference to the ACH transfer. If you do change to ACH transfer, there's a form you have to print, fill out, and mail into them.

How long has it been? I would go in and talk to them. They're not all that great when it comes to communication about that. :-(

For financial aid, you start with a "bank" each semester, that is what shows in WebAdvisor. I know you are supposed to be able to "charge" against it at the bookstore but I've never done it. I have always printed out the award letter and got my books at books n more. when classes start, the school will take whatever is charged against it (tuition, fees, books), then about a week after add/drop date the money goes onto your Onecard. That is used like a debit card, and you can draw cash from it at ATMs. If you buy books with your CC, you can pay that back with the Onecard.

As for emails, I haven't gotten any, but in the case of emails, I haven't had any. If your at SS, there is no info for BRH, but the booklet for South Bay is in the Certified Background download. I can't say about the other campuses though.

I appealed over the summer and I had to go in to get an answer. Hope it works out for you!
