hello! i just joined this lovely and informative site after lurking for a few weeks. i'm planning to apply for the program after this fall semester. (need to finish a&pII and college algebra).

edit: can someone walk me through the application process? i know it's pretty easy, but i like knowing 100%! i'm not sure if an adviser would help me much. i know you need high school transcripts, an hcc application and a nursing application. then you just gather all the papers (including money?) in like a.... manila envelope and mail away? or can you electronically send your high school transcripts to them? thank you.

Kmangirl, Squeen, and DNC...OMG! I am SO sorry!!! I have heard about this happening in past semesters but was hoping that it was just a rumor!!! RIDICULOUS!!! Sounds like you all have GREAT appeal cases. Please keep us posted on whether they make it right or not!!!

well my brother forgot an important part when reading the letter to me over the phone. I got an alt position. I am still appealing because I am unsure of how they did anything. What were your gpas? I'm trying to figure out what the lowest might be because I know I had a 3.55. And kman my email is this [email protected] if you want to talk. I'm on my phone in the middle of nowhere louisiana right now trying to get a signal.
Thanks SQUEEN....congrats at least you still have some hope...congrats. I am waiting on a phone call back from HCC to set an appointment for the appeal. I have a strong feeling that it will make no difference. What ...??? will they say oh yes we made a mistake calculating your gpa so now we have to tell someone that got an acceptance letter that they really did not get in...fat chance on that one.
