hello! i just joined this lovely and informative site after lurking for a few weeks. i'm planning to apply for the program after this fall semester. (need to finish a&pII and college algebra).

edit: can someone walk me through the application process? i know it's pretty easy, but i like knowing 100%! i'm not sure if an adviser would help me much. i know you need high school transcripts, an hcc application and a nursing application. then you just gather all the papers (including money?) in like a.... manila envelope and mail away? or can you electronically send your high school transcripts to them? thank you.

OK...so I apologize for not FIRST congratulating you guys that got in!!! I had a browser window open from last night, and I was so excited, I forgot to refresh it before posting, so I didn't see that some of you had already gotten your FABULOUS news!!! AWESOME!!!! Yayyyy for all of us!!!! This is unbelievably awesome. I've been smiling for like two hours straight now and I still feel like reality hasn't set in. Wow. WOW this is WONDERFUL :)
kman and squeen... I feel SO bad that you didn't get yours today!! BUT...you KNOW you both are IN!!! BTW...my documents still say "not rec'd"...that has nothing to do with the process, so do not sweat it! (I know it's easier said then done!!) Hang in there!
HI guys,,,i did not get it and i did not get an alternate either. they said that my gpa is a 3.19..I have no idea what they did...i guess i can appeal. from my calculations the minimum my gpa could be is a 3.42....the story of my life.
I have been browsing for quite sometime. I was so excited to get an acceptance letter today, only to realise they miscalculated my GPA! I am so fustrated I am going to appeal ASAP! Has anyone else had to go through this? I am so upset right now.
So, we shouldn't register for a CPR class until after orientation. Right? I think there is a CPR class that all pre-nursing students take together before the start of the semester. Does anyone know for sure?
hi SQUEEN sorry to hear that you did not get in either. I have no idea what happened. I am crying my eyes out right now and can not focus on anything. SQUEEN when are you going to see the counsler. Is there anyway that we can talk outside this post..??
