  1. Go to Erwin technical center well respected and way cheaper for your cna.
  2. They do have night classes but the BSN program is only during the day
  3. I have not purchased it. I just use a free app called medscape.
  4. Technically they are supposed to be all white. Many students have colored nike checks ect and no one has said anything. We are getting a new program director so please be aware that they may be more strict on certain things.
  5. Hey sorry I do not remember all of the books plus I heard they may be changing some of them. My advice is to relax while you can! You will have time once the quarter starts to learn everything. You can pick up the schedules at the front desk they just won't have your lab times on there. Everyone in my class got their first choice so I wouldn't worry about that. Good luck!
  6. You might have issues getting books from current students because they changed the sequence of courses for you guys. You are taking pharm 1 first quarter which we started this quarter. I already sold my physical assessment book on amazon. Used books are they way to go, way more affordable. Goo luck with everything!
  7. It depends we only get one week before April classes, you can get a calendar up at the front desk
  8. I am only in the second quarter and have heard it's only gets harder. The majority of the students do not work, I work 12 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday and it is manageable. There is one student who works full time so it can be done. The first quarter was much easier. The group I am in is awesome we all try to help each other, which helps a lot. Did you apply for the April class?
  9. Yes, I know of one student in my class who was an alternate.
  10. I took the majority of my pre reqs at HCC. Took 3 at South University. And we have clinicals pretty much at every hospital except ones owned by baycare.
  11. I am a student in the BSN program and South University Tampa and love it! I am writing this because when I looked for information on the school before I went I could barely find any information. The school is very expensive however the teachers are great, and the program is very organized. The actual nursing program is 21 months long not including pre reqs. The selection process includes more than just GPA. I just wanted to put out some information for anyone interested.
  12. Thank you! I was starting to get worried, I did receive the purple post card and it didn't have anything checked on it so I was confused. Thank you again!
  13. Has anyone received the acceptance letter yet?
  14. The PM class hasn't had their meeting yet, but for the AM she basically told us we were all accepted as long as we turn in our packets on time. We should receive our letters in August.
