  1. This is the same reason I did LPN too. I don't regret it at all.
  2. OMG my stomach noises have always been my issue in school. Is so embarrassing especially when I have to take a test. My stomach makes lion noises even after I eat 24/7. I get anxious and I have to rush through my exams because of my stomach..I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one...lol
  3. Thanks for all the information. I decided not to go to CAN for my RN. I have all my prereqs and as you said they won't take them. I'm looking to get in to Rasmussen. I have to take the TEAS in December. They told me they will take 74 of my credits all I have to complete is 44 more credits. I started working as a LPN and not knowing my schedule will be an issue. Every time I asked them about the schedule they couldn't give me a straight answer. With Rasmussen there's no Friday class. Sorry you wasted your time and money. Do you know where you are going to attend?
  4. I thought Rasmussen was regionally acredited. I did took the TEAS and got an overall score of 67% at PHCC but I'm not sure if I can use that score or I would have to retake it. I took it a year ago.
  5. I'm also applying to Rasmussen in Tampa. I just scheduled to take the TEAS in December 14 so that should give me enough time to study. I don't have to take the step test so I just need to focus on the TEAS. I have taken the TEAS twice a few years ago and failed. I have all my per req completed and I'm also an LPN. Classes start in April 2013. For Rasmussen we are only allow to take the TEAS once per year. So if I don't pass in December I have next year to try again but I'm positive That I will pass. I would appreciate any suggestions.
  6. I'm a new LPN and just took a job 40 miles from my home. It takes me about 1 hr to get to work and back. Being a new nurse is hard to find a job so I won't complain..I'm just happy I got a job.
  7. They were looking for a full time nurse and I emailed them telling them that I was interested but was going to attend school and could only work weekends. I thought they wouldn't be interested but they emailed me back 5 hours later and told me that would be fine and gave me an interview the next day and hired me on the spot...I been smiling since then..
  8. I'm so excited! I will start working for a Children Medical Center as a phone triage nurse. They are giving me one day a week so I can go to school for my RN. I'll start my training Monday. I will work full time until November. Is a hour commute from my house but is worth it!!!! ANybody else does triage?
  9. I finished reading Chicken Soup for Nurse's, it was a great book. Now I'm reading The Nurses Story which I'm loving it but I'm almost finish. Any other books you can recommend while I apply for LPN jobs?
  10. I took my PN NCLEX 2 weeks ago and the trick works. It did not let me register and I passed. My classmates have been doing the trick and they had passed too. I believe in the trick 100%. If is letting you register most likely you failed. I'm sorry
  11. I'm from FL and I just got my license. I been looking for a job since July but no one calls me. I paid $19,000 for my LPN and I'm planning to start the bridge program in November, that will cost me $26,000 more.. I'm getting a little depress about not being able to find a job. Good luck
  12. I read Kaplan Nclex pn.. The trick works!!! I checked this morning the Board of Nursing and it said I pass!!!!!!!!
  13. Thanks, I finished in 1 hour and completed 90 questions. I had a lot of SATA, which had me really nervous. There were a few meds questions that I had never heard before. There were some OB and Peds questions. I had like 4 calculation questions. I studied the Kaplan book, which was excellent! In addition, I answered about 100 questions a day from the saunder CD... I have to say, I have no idea how I passed it but I was thrilled and crying when I saw the good pop up !

  15. Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time. This is the pop came up when I did the trick... I started crying....Does it mean I passed?
