Hi !

I'm new to the board and just wanted to introduce myself! I'm 26, married and have three kids (have my hands full!) and was just wondering if there was anyone else in the same "boat"? I'm working full time right now, and I'm starting my pre-reqs this Fall semester! I'm really excited and my DH is behind me 100%. I'm home this week while I recover from surgey(minor) and I would really like an email buddy. My email is in my profile. Hope to hear from someone soon!

im glad to hear i'm not the only one with kids and family. it's overwhelming to think that pretty soon i'm going to have to transform into "supermom"! ha ha ! but i'm really encourged to know that other's do it, so i can too. stephany, honestly i dont envy you. whenever i complain about my 7 year old, 3 year old and 7 month old brats, moms of teenagers always say... "little kids little problems, big kids, big problems..." would you agree?

s

lots of love @ you and i do agree!

HI Just so you don't feel alone, Which here i doubt you ever will LOL

I just finished my with my RN Exam. I decided to go back to school after my 4 child. My youngest was 1 and oldest was 12.

It proved to be interesting and a little hair raising ok maybe alot hair raising but i can say it was the best decision i ever made.

I am now embarking on a new adventure of moving to North Carolina with my family from canada.

I can't wait

Take Care and all you have to do is say i know i can even when you think you can't through those exams

Take care

:)

Welcome nurs2bme:) My name is Tonya, I am 22 and a single mom to Alicia Nicole who is 4 years old. I will be starting my senior year in August. This is a really fun group and like others have already said this board can get addicting really quick. :D

Hi nrs2bme and welcome to the board! I'm not exactly in the same "boat" as you, but I'm 29, married, and have a 4 yr. old boy.

I've been working as a Paramedic for the past 5 years and have decided to expand my horizons and become a RN. I start back to college this Fall to complete the pre-requisites and the rest of my classes for my AA Degree. I too am working full-time and will have to continue doing so while in school. I have a very supportive husband, but we just can't afford for me to quit work at this time and pay for college.

Well, I hope to chat with you again!

Hi! Good to "hear" from you!

I'm 39 with 4 children still at home (supposedly a 5th coming home Saturday). In LPN school right now, going on for my RN as soon as I can. Best of Luck to you!

Welcome!!!!!!!!!

I can't relate to the husband/kids thing, but the advice on this BB has been great.

Good luck to you!

hi, im also new , welcome! im hoping to make it to rn , i have five children ages 13 to 1 (four boys my youngest , finally a girl) , im so gratefull my school is 15 minutes from my home , i go at night so im already exhausted!!!!!!!!! im doing prerequisites now and hope to be an rn someday.

Hello,

I'm already addicted and just found this place today. No one can understand the stressors (my teacher would be so proud I used that word) that we go through except fellow students! I'm married also w/ 2 boys ages 4 and 7. Have my hands full but for a good cause. Glad this summer session will be over by next Thursdays, counting hours and minutes then 5 blessed weeks off before being legally called a "Senior".
