That's ok I thought it was a little weird that you weren't sure what it was! So far I like it...I haven't been there long enough to get to really know the good and the bad of it yet but so far all the nurses seem nice so that's good and it is interesting! We will be in rotation there till the 9th of June so maybe I'll see you sometime! :nurse:

I'm so embarrased. I actually will be working 7p-7a. My first week will be in orientation with the hospital and not with the unit. But it is still possible we may meet I suppose.

That's ok well good luck with orientation and all that fun stuff and everything that goes along with that...hope you like it there!

I just want to kick myself right now! :smackingf I was thinking 4 West! lol! I will be starting in 4 South (Neuro/Trauma)in June! June 6th actually. Please let me know how you like it...I've heard some good things, some bad things. Good luck! I hope you learn a lot (I hope I learn a lot when I start working there)!

Jen,

Did you know my wife Amy(your old class mate) starts on the floor this weekend on 4S Neuro?!

You'll have to call and see how she likes it!

Yep! I know. Thanks so much for sending me her e-mail! :)

Hi. I see that some of you on this thread already work in hospitals.

I am trying to get an idea of how much Michigan R.N.s make on the West side of the State (Grand Rapids area) v.s. the East side of the State (Metro Detroit area).

If you don't mind posting how much you make of what R.N.s make at your hospital, I would appreciate it. Thank you. :)

Hi, it's anywhere from $20-25.00/hr to start. Hope this helps!
