U.S.A. Michigan

Published

Hey everyone. I just applied to the HFCC program for Winter 2017 and thought I would start a thread to see if anyone else will be applying too. I am pretty nervous and would like to get some insight as to how many points you had when you got accepted.

Thanks!

Right! I've been compulsively checking my email!

I'm also glad everyone is helping out with the ITT students.

Oh that's good! & no, they said that we would hear by the end of this week or early next so hopefully soon! I'm going to call the nursing office again tomorrow to ask

I got accepted!! :) What about you guys?!

Accepted! So excited :)

Yay! Me too! Congrats!

Guys!! I got accepted!!! How exciting!

So excited to meet everyone! I think I'm in shock lol!

Congrats! It's so exciting

@CanadianAbroad, did they work things out with the ITT students?

We saw them yesterday. The groups closer to finishing the program will test out of their classes. If they got an 850 or higher on their Hesi exams, I think they will get credit. They really are going to work with them.

As as for myself, I can test to get to second semester, but I opted to start over. It looks like I can test out of the English pre-req and the math one. I have the others already. My A&P classes were weighted differently, so they were looking to see what they can do so I don't have to take the classes over. My Hesi entrance score was a 95, so based on that and my GPA, I should be starting in January.

It was a very long day, but well worth standing in line and talking to them.
