HFCC Winter 2017

Hey everyone. I just applied to the HFCC program for Winter 2017 and thought I would start a thread to see if anyone else will be applying too. I am pretty nervous and would like to get some insight as to how many points you had when you got accepted.

I just saw this. Did you guys get your acceptance yet? I ask due to ITT closing and the college stating they are accepting ITT students immediately. I hope this doesn't affect your own acceptance, but I do think they are opening another nursing section for ITT students as well.

What is ITT? I still haven't received anything yet.

ITT Tech is a for-profit college that closed recently and now most of the students have no where to go. Haven't heard anything yet but I read the news update on the website and it doesn't say nursing under any of the available programs so I think we may be good.

ITT did have nursing. I am

one of the students who were displaced. HFCC is taking them all in if they apply and transfer credits.

well that's cool! Do you still have to take the HESI for Henry Ford if they are accepting immediately?

I took the HESI for Breckinridge already. I think they are going to put us in for Winter and then do any pre-reqs before we graduate. It really is a mess and this is awful to go through. I don't wish this on anyone.
