I emailed the nursing advisor at UT of Texas @Tyler and their average GPA is 3.4. I don't know how *average* that is compared to other schools though, so if you can find the nursing advisors link from the school you want to attend you could ask directly.

hey yall, im new here. im excited to talk with all of you about nursing. well, im applying to texas womens university in houston for fall 2006. im just wondering what the average gpa is for someone who gets accepted into nursing school. i think im at like a 3.66 right now. if anyone knows, please respond when you get a chance..i would really appreciate it! thanks!!

That sounds unusually low. Did you ask about thier cutt-off GPA for applicants or the average GPA for nursing students?
