Regardless of when you're hoping to apply to Nursing school, just wondering how the Fall 09 Semester is going? I'm taking my first 2 of 8 pre-reqs this semester. I have Nutrition and Developmental Psych. I was scared to go back to school ten years after graduating (YES, I'm old I know), but so far so good! I have A's in both classes. I'm terrified of next semester though... Inorganic Chemistry. I'm so scared of that class. Ugh.
I'm currently taking A&P (combined 1 & 2 into one semester), chemistry (combination of general, bio, and organic), and pharmacology.
I'm getting A's in all of them! I just hope I can keep it up. I have a huge pharm midterm this week and we have to get 78% or we fail the class. There are 50 questions and they are worth 2 points each so we can only miss 11! It's making me soooo nervous!
I've got a loonnnggg time before I apply. I'm hoping to apply to a school August of 2010 and get in for January 2011. Otherwise...well, I could potentially not get in until April or Fall of that year, if at all. Ick. I start the A&P sequence next quarter.
I've got about the same time frame. aug 2010 or jan 2011. I'm going to do everything from here on out in mini terms, work hard, and hope for the best. : ] I've already started studying for the chem class I'm taking next semester and for a & p. We should all stay in touch and cheer eachother on!

google GPA calculator. It has helped me. I am taking A&P1. I am really enjoying the course but its tough. A lot of studying. I have to really work hard to keep my GPA up as high as I can. I am hoping to apply to one school after Spring semester ends depending on how I did.
well it's kinda looking like I'm going to have to apply to Bcc because I don't think my gpa will make the cut for Mdc's nursing program by the end of the spring term. By the time I do get it up there, it'll be too late to apply for jan 2011 so I'd basically sit out for a year and I don't want that. Even though Bcc is an hour away, to me it's worth it. So Bcc here I come! I'm planning on applying for entrance for Fall 2010. : ] By then my gpa should be at 3.6.
I'm taking 12 units right now; Developmental Psych, Introductory Chemistry, and Intermediate Algebra. I'm doing great in Math which is a total surprise! Psych is always a lot of fun and easy for me. As for Chemistry, as long as I keep studying really hard and going to my tutor, then I may just get a B lol
I am in my 2 semester, and last semester I had a 4.0, and this semester I still have A`s in all my classes. I got accepted for January 2010, which was very diffcult because sooooo many people applied, but I made it. The RN program I will attend is a 2 year program, so my Pre-Regs weren`t so bad.

I'm an older student and I'm taking 5 classes right now: Algebra, Human Growth & Dev, English 2, Cultural Anthro and Art appreciation. I miss my sciences! These ones are boring me so bad. It's read, discuss, write an essay, repeat. Ugh.
I have one more semester and then I will be done and graduated with an AS. I applied already to my BSN program but won't find out until March if I was accepted or not, hopefully to start in summer. If not, it will be spring of next year. I have maintained my 4.0 so far but algebra might drop me down. All I can say is that algebra is EVIL!! lol
