HESI EXIT EXAM #4

Nursing Students General Students

I am not sure what to do anymore. I have just taken the hesi exit exam for the 4th time and got an 845 and needed an 850 in order to get my transcripts. We can take it as many times as needed by the end of fall, but my brain is so tired, and not sure I can take much more. We have remediation that we have to do and it is 3000 nclex questions before we retake. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get through this. is there anyone out there that has had to take this as many times as I have? Help someone.

I used Kaplan for my hesi and it did help me. Their questions are a bit harder then Saunders and a bit more detailed like Hesi.

Collins 13 did you take the kaplan class or did you just get the kaplan book and if so could you telll me what the isbn number is for the book. I have to take it in a couple weeks and i'm trying any book to help i'm due in september a baby boy and i want this over before my bundle of joy pops out.

Well, actually I did the online version. I did not like the book so much. I love the questions they have and how you can assess your knowldege they also have videos and example questions where they tell you how they approach them and of course some test taking stradegies. Now, the online version I was given on a discount in May and you can use it for three month. I paid like 350 for it, but I also use it now for my Nclex. I love Kaplan. I feel like a sense of accomplishment while I notice how i progress. I do it a bit different then what they tell you to do so. I do like the diagnostic test first to see my weak areas, read rationales and started watching videos in that area, then I do like the test one and then I started to to q trainer fifty questions a day on my weak areas. I have one more month to go and I think I will finish Kaplan right about then and hopefully can take the Nclex shortly after that. The book is not that different from Saunders so I would not purchase the book alone if I were you. I would take online questions etc and the book is included in that one.

Do alot of questions, read your rationales all of them, look up al lthe subjects you feel uneasy about or you simply do not know in Saunders. That really should work if you study that way. Oh and congrats to be soon a mommy!!

I don't work for nor do I know Dr. Martin, but have you taken Dr. Martin's Review course? Look her review course up on line. That is an excellent review tool. You have to pay $400 for it, but consider it an investment in your career. I know people who have taken that review course and have passed Hesi and Nclex. Hope this helps.
