Herzing PMHNP

Hello everyone, I will be starting the new PMHNP program at Herzing University in September. Trying to see if there is anyone else that will be starting the program so that we can connect. Since it's a new program, there is no topic about this specialty and maybe this can provide opportunity for potential students to discuss.

The price 38,610 is the correct price for MSN degree unless you received a scholarship for having a 3.8 GPA or above for BSN program. You can qualify for 10K scholarship bringing the price down to under 30K. The price for post-masters is the price they are discussing in previous post.

I believe 30K is the post-masters price and 38610 is price for MSN.

Hi, does anyone know if Herzing’s PMHNP program is approved in Louisiana?

Herzing's PMHNP is approved for Louisiana, unless I was given misinformation. Thank you studentnurse2018 for explaining the scholarships. I knew I had gotten a discount and two scholarships but, I don't know if I was told why I was getting it. I know the one for a GPA >3.8 but the other one, not so sure. Thanks for the insight. Denise

Can someone please tell me, that is already enrolled specifically Advanced Pathophysiology what the heck are you using for your weekly quizzes. I am started to get extremely frustrated with the style of questions this class is using and I see my grade drop every single week because of them. I already emailed the teacher. The information is not difficult. I understand it completely. I’m an excellent test taker and it’s not test taking strategies. We are also allowed open note/book. So what is my problem??? Is anyone else experiencing this??? I literally got a 60% on the musculoskeletal quiz... the easiest section in my opinion. How????

I am taking it in January. Are the quizzes a big percentage of your grade?  How would you rate the course?

I am now thinking that our classes all depend on what teacher you have. Last term for my patho class, the teacher provided us with useful powerpoint notes that were very helpful for quizzes. This term for pharm, the teacher did not provide us with anything. However, I have friends who have a different teacher for the same class this term and the teacher is providing them with powerpoint notes and it has been helpful for them in taking quizzes.

I've applied for the PMHNP Psych MSN cohort starting 1/11/2021.  Am I the only one having issues getting called back from the "advisors"?  This is the third call I've scheduled with someone and no follow up from them.  

I even completed all the enrollment requirements online a couple weeks ago.  Am I missing something? 

I'm from Louisiana too by the way @Srobertsonrn . One of the few online accredited here.
