Help with writing a competitive resume

One of the schools that I am applying to ask for a resume. I wanted some advice on what to add to the resume. I graduated from undergrad in 2006 and since then I worked as a teacher aide and teacher. I am not part of any community organization right now. I am wondering what I can add to make me standout.

Utilize your student resources center at your college. Mine has resume and career advising. They helped me out quite a bit. They'll help you get a nice, solid, and professional looking resume. Otherwise, I'd google it. "How to write a good resume." Found this resource below in no time. Good Luck!
