HELP!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone,

Did anyone have to take the ATI exam while you were in nursing school? If so, how did you prepare. I have been doing questions for sometime now but it doesnt seem to help much. My professors keeps stressing the whole "do 100 questions a night" thing but if I am not passing the tests how does this benefit me? Any suggestions anyone. Also for those who took this exam and passed it do you feel it helped with answering questions on the Nclex RN exam? Please someone help me. Test is scheduled for March 10 and I am pulling my hair out. I dont want to be bald by test day:):):)...Have to laugh to keep from crying:(:(:(

Don't cry HELP!!!!!!!! around here unless you are bleeding.

Just saying.

You will find the kind of help you need in the student nurse section. Really, everybody here is too far removed from that stuff you are wanting. :)

This comment is the reason why I dont post on this site that often. Netglow if you didnt have an answer for my question than there was no reason for you to respond. I posted this question in the nurses section because I also wanted to know if the test helped with the Nclex RN exam. A STUDENT would not have taken this exam yet. I am aware that this section is for nurses because I am sure there are some YOUNG nurses or NEW nurses on here that are not too far removed from the stuff I am asking.

I know you are stressed.....but I don't think they meant that as a diss.......I think they were suggesting to either ask the moderators to move or repost in the pre-student orNCLEX section. I do know that stressing on tests can actually make it worse so.....deep breath in.....now let it out....... Have confidence and don't panic.....Peace.

dscott76, Yes, I graduated in December so am a new nurse. I did have to take the ATI exams in school. I understand your stress! Did you all get the ATI books? I used those to study for the ATI exams but not for the NCLEX. Maybe others did, but I didn't find ATI too helpful for the NCLEX. So, if you have the ATI books I would be studying those. And continue to do questions. Where are you getting questions from? Feel free to private message me. I know how you are feeling so will help however I can! Take some deep breaths! You can do this!!

Nurse2011, I have been doing the ATI pratice questions online. The ones from the ATI website. I am stressing because we CANNOT graduate unless we pass this test. I am not sure if there is anything else I should be doing to prepare for this test. Thank you for the words of encouragement.

does your faculty think you're doing well enough to pass you? do you think they care whether they send out competent new grads or just people who paid their tuition and called it a day?

there. you have your answer. you're passing and life is sweet.:redbeathe
