There isn't really a lot you can do but wait for Texas to approve your file. There are a few waiting like you. Sometimes the lawyer misses things but doesn't own up to it. There is a thread going regarding Texas times may be worth checking it out

Definitely follow up with the attorney that filed your petition. Suspect that they were asked to supply additional documentation that they did not include that was required. Unfortunately, we see it all of the time. And remember that you signed a document permitting your attorney to act on your behalf with immigration. Not all inform you when they need to submit othre documentation, but it can delay your approval.

hi guys....just a query....what do you think is the timeline of the immigration process, assuming nothing will change on the retrogression issue..let say, you applied for I-140 approval on this year 2007, what year do you think you can arrive in the US to work? 3 years? 4 years? or more? any of you guys have been waiting for 4 years or more? it might help other nurses to reconsider....thanks..

Very hard to predict, some countries may move a little faster than others as depends on the country and its demands of visas. Probably looking at over 2 years

mostly affected I suppose are those from PIC countries, should you fall in one of those countries, is it fair to say, you need to wait for 3 years or more? I bet there are thousands already who have just started submitting their I-140 since it's not affected by the retrogression, only when it is approved and the next step will then be put to a halt....

Yes will mainly be PIC countries and Mexico. All done on where born so can't move country to where demand is less. I am definitely from the UK and been waiting 1 year already and no idea when things will start to move. Some countries though are training more and more nurses but they don't have the work for them once they qualify and they ar also training more than demand of visas for the US and the EU is slowly becoming unobtainable due to EU directives

my approval was Aug 06 and managed to get it in 11 days but after that things started getting delayed for people who filed afterwards and I got hit by retrogression

oh, at least you are already in the last stage so to say, once the visa becomes available, you're off to the US . . while some of my colleagues just submitted their I-140 for approval on July 2007. . . they may be looking into 3-4 years range then considering they came from PIC.....
