HI!
I am interviewing for a health educator position at an OBGYN clinic and have been asked to come in for an interview and present a 5 minute power point presentation on evidenced based practice in women's health. Any ideas for a topic and how to go about this presentation?
Thanks

Since it's your interview, why don't you try coming up with some ideas first and then asking for thoughts on them?

I think you're over thinking this. I assume, at least is hope, women's health interests you. This shouldn't be difficult. Pick a topic you're particularly passionate about & think of what you would want a woman experiencing it for the first time to know about it.

I would think that the concept and presentation is part of the interview.

Since the original poster is asking for assistance on an upcoming job interview, this thread has been moved to our Nursing interview Help forum. Good luck!

I'd suggest logging into your old school account and going into library resources. Search evidence based and women's health and pick a topic. That's what I would do anyways. I've worked in women's health, previously worked with an OB and taught a prenatal course.

IMO, it would be easiest to address the reasons for the recent changes in PAP ages and frequency. 5 minutes is not a very long time to talk, so you don't want to get into something that is too complicated.
